THE LOVE 8

With the crying of her son, May's sleep broke. Carrying him on her shoulder, she went to get the milk. 
" Does he really have to cry like that at the middle of the night?" Said Farabi with annoyance.
" It's 6 in the morning. He is hungry that's why he is crying. " May replied lowering her voice trying not to wake up her son again.
"That's the same shit, you keep telling me every single time your son break my sleep. I am just tired of all these nonsense! I need sound sleep. " Farabi said angrily.
"My son! He is our son. Don't you have any responsibility as a father? I have been doing every single thing since the birth. Now you are complaining about him crying as well."

" I don't care. I need my sleep. It's not possible if you two stay in my room." Saying this Farabi shut the door on May's face.

Getting everything ready before the class, May handed her son to her mother in law.
"How come you are sleeping in the living room today?" Asked Hashi.
" Farabi doesn't like the baby breaking his sleep. It's fine, this way is better. I don't have to be so much careful to not to break Farabi's sleep." Saying this May left, didn't wait for a reply.

Class finished 10 minutes ago. May doesn't really feel like going home yet. Home reminds her about the bitter reality she is in right now. 
"Coffee?"
May looked up to find Sarah. With a smile May replied 
"Thanks"
" So, what's up? You look worried. Is everything alright with you? I mean if you don't feel comfortable, you don't have to reply. I just had to ask." 
May remained silent. Wondering if it would be right to share her feelings with a stranger she just met yesterday. Part of her wants to tell sarah everything but what if Sarah doesn't understand her situation. Then she will make a joke out of herself. May started playing with her phone unconsciously.
"Alright, let's talk about something else. Who else is in your family? Parents? Siblings?" Sarah changed the topic.
" I live with my in laws. I have a son who is about to become two. My parents live in Brooklyn." Replied May
" You are married! Surprised! Girls of your age generally doesn't go down that path. But guess what, that's the best thing to do. You don't have to worry about boyfriends in the college. Your morality is saved!"  Sarah replied with a laugh. " Please don't take me so seriously, I joke around a lot. The more you know me, you will figure that out yourself."
A call on Sarah's phone interrupted her. 
"Excuse me", Sarah stepped away for few minutes.
" May, I gotta get home. I'll see you tomorrow again" Sarah picked up her bag and left in a hurry.
Looking at Sarah leaving, a sigh escaped May's mouth. Another failed attempt to ask something.

 Gilman pulled Brian to the side. - What's going on boss?  - What do you mean? Brian replied pretending to be surprised. -  "Dont play that game with me. I know you too well by now. I saw you roaming around Saba's cousin past few hours. If I am not mistaking, you were having a talk with her. What is it about?" -" I was just curious about her. She is quite interesting and smart. May's s sleep broke with the morning Ray hitting her face. She raised her hand to cover her face from the sun's glare. Took a few minutes to realize that she is sleeping on the floor. After tahajjud and morning prayer, she didn't feel like going to bed. The mind became heavier than the body could bear. Getting up from the floor, May gathered everything and tucked them away.  " I have a decision to make" she said to herself. The prayer really helped to clear up her mind but she still needs to talk to someone.
